Install Ruby On Rails on Mac OS X 10.15 Catalina (Issue)

I'm running the following command:
mysql_secure_installation

I get this error:
Error: Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/tmp/mysql.sock' (2)

I have enabled root.

Sounds like your MySQL server isn't running. Try starting it again.

I know nothing

How do I restart it? (Of course, it was installed using Homebrew. Not sure if that matters or wth it means.)
