Hi Chris,
Thank you for publishing the simple_discussions gem. It was exactly what I need for a project I am doing!

I just deployed a barebones start to this project to AWS Elastic Beanstalk. I set it up with an SSL certificate and I can log in to the system and view users with the chrome "lock" on. As soon as I click on the forum link it says the site is not secure. It appears https:// is still in the url but for some reason it is not secure. Do you have any insights on this?

Disregard, I figured it out. It was the avatar tag using http.
