I'm not able to install ruby 2.6.8 on my ubuntu 22.02

I have been trying to install ruby on my ubuntu 22.02 jammy jellyfish for 3 days now but I always get hit with the same error.

The initial messages are:
BUILD FAILED (Ubuntu 22.04 using ruby-build 20220426-3-g1038c07)

Inspect or clean up the working tree at /tmp/ruby-build.20220513215906.32627.dFxJ2V
Results logged to /tmp/ruby-build.20220513215906.32627.log

I'm not able to figure out what exactly is wrong. The same procedure works with ubuntu 20.04 (on virtual box)

ps: I'm able to install ruby 3.1.2 but not any other versions than that.

I think you can install ruby 3.1.3 and higher in a version update.
