Incorporating an Admin Dashboard

Hi All

Say you've found a sample Admin Dashboard web site. Its delivered as a 'skeleton' html.css app. In order to use it one needs to 'port' (for lack of a better term) - all the necessary resources/views into their Rails app and update their UI as well. Or perhaps you're only using Rails as an API server and your front-end app is written using AngularJS (which is my case).

I remember there being a GoRails episode that describes the process of incorporating css/html from an Admin Dashboard / sample site into an existing app. Does anyone recall the episode and/or can recommend resources (aka blog posts, videos, tutorials, etc...) that show someone how to do what I described above ?
