I’m trying to create a parallax effect on Squarespace 7.1 without custom code injection.

And I’m like close, but I either scroll past containers or end up with one scrollbar per block. Has anyone done this before successfully? I don’t just want the background pics static; they should scroll with the page, just slower.

Right now I’m targeting the ID for each block that I want to apply the effect to, and then the background image class, and use transform to make it scroll slower and scale to make it look the right size again. I’m experimenting with where you put the perspective from though, but I can’t figure out how to do it without braking anything.

I’m a very noob btw.
