Hi, it's a great guide! I got through all steps successfully.
However, when I tried to create a newapp, I got the following error.

error: chmod on /mnt/c/code/.git/config.lock failed: Operation not permitted
fatal: could not set 'core.repositoryformatversion' to '0'

I already made sure the folder is writable.
