Posted in error while setting up ruby on rails

I messed up my .bash_profile while installing ruby on rails on mac terminal. I am getting errors like -(bash: touch: command not found) and (.bash_profile permission denied) when i open the terminal. Can anyone help what should be in .bash_profile . thanks.
