# Mid-Level FullStack Developer (3-5 years) - Priicer - Real-Time Electricity Price and Control Platform

We're seeking a reliable developer to maintain and extend Priicer, a real-time electricity tariff and control platform.

Priicer automatically gathers 5-minute to hourly electricity pricing data from all over the world, then automatically turns customer devices on or off based on that dynamic electricity price. When the price is low the electricity is much cleaner and more available, so this helps customers both save money and meaningfully lower their carbon emissions automatically. - Has solid Rails fundamentals but wants to grow into complex integrations

- Enjoys working with external APIs and solving data consistency challenges

- Is able to commit to working 20 to 30 hours per week.

## 🛠️ Technical Requirements

**Ruby/Rails Stack**

- 3-5 years Ruby on Rails experience

- React fundamentals for device management UI

- Sidekiq background jobs and Redis caching

-PostgreSQL (Views). We also use MongoDB for long time storage

- API integration experience (REST, handling errors/retries)

- Comfortable with debugging third-party integrations

**Basic Server operations (our server is on a Ubuntu VM)**

- Process management and deployment knowledge are a plus

- Comfortable with SSH and basic Linux navigation
